Help for Jäger

Just last week I had the scare of a lifetime, I woke up to Jager falling off the bed and dragging around his left side, he seemed so dazed and confused to the point where he couldn't stay up without leaning on a wall. We brought him to our vet where they then had him sent over to the Massachusetts vet referral hospital, after an MRI and a spinal tap we were told he has encephalitis (inflammation in the brain) and they were treating him to the best of there abilities. Jager spent that week under the care of the hospital due to how fast the inflammation in his brain had developed. During that week he had lost vision in his left eye and only has slight vision in his right, no control over his left side and very confused.
He has made some small baby steps towards getting better and was released to us Monday but needs 24 hour care. He is able to walk but requires a harness to hold him up and the medication seems to be helping him go in the right direction.
Sadly I had not gotten pet insurance for him yet since had only turned 1 on November 24th not thinking something like this would happen. I want to do everything I can for him and I will continue to do so. I am hoping that the help everyone provides can help cover the costs of Jagers MRI.
Jager means the world to me and everyday I pray to see improvement, He is a young and energetic pup and after all of this I am hopping to see that come out of him again, it truly breaks my heart to see him how he is now but I know he can fight it.
I know that asking right now is a lot, times are hard especially with Covid but every penny will help, Thank you
