Help for Jen and Matthew Post-Fire

I am a close friend of Jen and Matthew. Their house burnt down the night of Oct 11th. They are safe from physical harm but have lost everything they own.

 

They and their 3-yo twins Sammy and Eli need community help to get through this tragedy. Both Jen and Matthew have worked tirelessly for this community for over a decade (Matthew as a middle school teacher at the Village School, and Jen in social work for Sponsors, a prison reentry program).

 

This incident is super fresh and details about how they rebuild and any specific needs will be updated on here as they become available. But we know that full recovery from losing their home is going to be a long process, and that they are going to need financial assistance to get through it. Community efforts are happening right now through close friends and family in an effort to get them basic needs like food and clothes immediately.
