Hello to all my friends and family. Today I open up my heart to you to share the news about my mom’s health. She has been having health issues for the last month. This last week we got the results of her testing, and she has a tumor on her bladder and she is having issues with her liver as well that will need to be addressed once the bladder is taken care of.
We know that this year has already been rough for all of us and these things come unannounced and at the worst times and that is why we are asking for your help. The amount we have stated will cover the procedure she needs to have done as soon as possible. (The procedure will be removing the tumor, sending it to be tested and opening up her urinary tract so the kidney can drain as it’s supposed to) This has to be done ASAP. After that we will be able to move forward with whatever treatments are recommended and move on to the next issue, that’s why we need all the help we can get. This initial goal should cover the first procedure, but we know we will be needing more beyond that.
We are also selling cakes, breads, cookies and other things to help cover some other day to day expenses and medications. We are working hard on all fronts to be able to help mom.
For those of you who don’t know Mom, she has spent her life taking care of her children and making sure they had everything they needed. She goes out of her way to help others and make sure their needs are met. She is a remarkable woman who has endured everything life has thrown at her and we know that this will only be one more thing she can put under her belt. Her heart is the biggest thing about her and if you did know her, you would fall in love with her.
She would never be the one to even ask for help, but we come to you humbly, knowing that the only way we can pay her back for all she has done for us is to reach out to our friends and family to help us. Again, we aren’t relying solely on you, we are doing everything we can to help raise as much money as possible, but you are a part of the team we have assembled to help mom and we appreciate everything you have already done and are doing including your prayers and good vibes.

Hola a todos mis amigos y familiares. Hoy les abro mi corazón para compartirles la noticia sobre la salud de mi mamá. Ha tenido problemas de salud durante el último mes. Esta última semana obtuvimos los resultados de sus pruebas y tiene un tumor en la vejiga y también tiene problemas con el hígado que deberán abordarse una vez que se cuide la vejiga.
Sabemos que este año ha sido duro para todos y estas cosas llegan sin previo aviso y en los peores momentos y por eso estamos pidiendo su ayuda. La cantidad que hemos indicado cubrirá el procedimiento que debe realizarse lo antes posible. (El procedimiento consistirá en extirpar el tumor, enviarlo para que lo examinen y abrir su tracto urinario para que el riñón pueda drenar como se supone). Esto debe hacerse lo antes posible. Después de eso, podremos seguir adelante con los tratamientos recomendados y pasar al siguiente tema, por eso necesitamos toda la ayuda que podamos obtener. Este objetivo inicial debería cubrir el primer procedimiento, pero sabemos que necesitaremos más allá de eso.
También estamos vendiendo pasteles, panes, galletas y otras cosas para ayudar a cubrir otros gastos y medicamentos del día a día. Estamos trabajando duro en todos los frentes para poder ayudar a mamá.
Para aquellos de ustedes que no conocen a mamá, ella se ha pasado la vida cuidando a sus hijos y asegurándose de que tuvieran todo lo que necesitaban. Ella hace todo lo posible para ayudar a los demás y asegurarse cubrir sus necesidades. Es una mujer extraordinaria que ha soportado todo lo que la vida le ha arrojado y sabemos que esto solo será una cosa más que superará. Su corazón es lo más grande de ella y si la conocieras, te enamorarías de ella.
A ella no le gusta pedir ayuda, pero acudimos a ustedes con humildad, sabiendo que la única forma en que podemos devolverle todo lo que ha hecho por nosotros es acercarnos a nuestros amigos y familiares para que nos ayuden. Nuevamente, no confiamos únicamente en ustedes, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para ayudar a recaudar la mayor cantidad de dinero posible, pero ustedes son parte del equipo que hemos reunido para ayudar a mamá y apreciamos todo lo que ya han hecho y están haciendo incluyéndola en sus oraciones y buenas vibras.
