My 8 year old daughter's friend just lost his dad, right before Christmas =(
We would like to raise funds to help his mother, Clarice, who is the sweetest, kindest lady I've every met, and is now widowed, so she can care for her 8 year old son. Clarice adopted her son when he was just a baby; she is actually the boy's biological grandmother. The biological parents weren't able to properly care for him so she stepped up and took him in to give him a good and safe life. She is now left to continue caring for him in her older age, on her own and without a husband.
