On Monday November 30th tragedy struck this family. Brad collapsed and was rushed to the local hospital. After several tests and days of waiting, he has been diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. He has now been transferred to a city hospital where specialists will determine the next course of action. He is not out of the woods, the coming days are crucial and he has a long road ahead of him. He is currently in a medically induced coma, and due to Covid restrictions cannot have someone with him around the clock.
Brad is one of the hardest workers I know and has always been the provider for his family. Right now he cannot be that provider. Just two short weeks ago he proposed to the love of his life, Melissa. On the day he collapsed they signed papers to buy their first home together. This unexpected tragedy has put a huge financial strain on their family. Christmas is only a few short weeks away. Brad's step children are young, and their Mom Melissa now has added financial stress with travel, parking and other expenses for his medical care.
