Help for Baby Henry

Henry Alexander Tosh was born January 8, 2019 to Alex Tosh and Rustee Apps at Royal University Hospital via c-section. Shortly after his birth, it was discovered that Henry has several serious heart defects that were undetected in utero. One of the main defects is called critical aortic stenosis, a narrowing of the aortic valve opening, which restricts blood flow. Henry and Alex were flown to the children’s hospital in Edmonton hours after his birth, where he had his first surgery. Rustee was discharged from the hospital on the 9th and flew to Edmonton to join Henry and Alex. Henry is scheduled for a second surgery tomorrow (Jan.12) and potentially faces more surgeries later on. 

We are raising money through Go Fund Me to help Henry’s parents take the time they need to be with their baby. Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will go directly to Henry’s parents to be put towards travel costs, food, lodging, and to cover their regular costs during this time of lost wages.
