Help for Arthur and Sheila

On Thursday, March 1, 2018 my best friend Sheila Parenteau’s life partner, Arthur Ferreira was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital with signs of a stroke; left sided paralysis, drooping mouth, slurred speech, vomiting. CT Scan showed three large tumors pressing against his frontal lobe. He was admitted and given high doses of steroids to shrink the swelling. He underwent a six hour surgery on Monday, March 5th. The removal of the tumors relieved some symptoms, but they were unable to get all of the “roots” so he will need chemotherapy or radiation.
Arthur is a hard working man, who is supporting two households and he and Sheila have two grandchildren to support as well. The Doctors tell us there is a long “road to recovery ahead” for Arthur and he will be out of work for the unforeseeable future. I am reaching out to our group of friends and family to please donate -any amount will help the family with groceries and monthly bills. This is a family that has had many, many setbacks over the last few years and have been able to overcome every obstacle given them.
