Anthony in his own words..
“This morning I awoke and everything seemed normal and she was on her side sleeping. I started to get ready for the day and returned to our room about fifteen minutes later to find Charity on her back in bed with her chin and lower lip blue. I shook and rubbed and smacked Charity, but she wasn’t breathing and I couldn’t find a pulse. I ran to tell Faith to call 911. I came back upstairs and got Charity to the floor and started cpr. All six kids were home and saw me doing chest compressions. The poor kids. I counted out with the dispatcher once Faith handed me the phone. EMTs and paramedics arrived and took over. They were able to get her heart started again. They intubated her and she was taking some breaths on her own before transporting her to the hospital.
She’s in critical condition and we play the waiting game now. The next 72-96 hours will tell us more. Thank you again everyone. Again, she’s as comfortable as can be all things considered.”
There are going to be expenses with a situation such as this... as such, this has been created to help the family to offset some of them, and to help Anthony stay at his wife’s side.
