Help for Anndrea McQuaid

Ms. Anndrea McQuaid is a dear friend of mine that I met almost 11 years ago when we began working together.  She is the most genuine person and has always made it a priority to take care of everyone around her and has been a second mother figure to so many children and families, including mine.  Anndrea would never ask anyone for help and tries to do everything on her own even when life hands her things that she does not deserve.  I am here asking for your help for Anndrea. 

She has been on Medical Leave from work since October and has recently been diagnosed with ALS which is a terminal illness that can progress rapidly and she is not longer able to work in any capacity.  Along with her medical provider, we are in the process of setting up a Personal Care Assistant to help with some of her daily functions and are working to come up with ways to make her comfortable while still enjoying her life as it has become.  Her speech, motor skills & mobility have been severely impacted and at this time, I do not know whether her life expectancy will be months or years but I am asking for anyone who would like to help to please let me know. 

I have created this account to help pay for unexpected expenses that insurance does not cover including things for her everyday loving.  This may include food, clothing and ultimately items to increase her comfort level without the stress of how she will pay for it.  I would also love to deliver her any food items that you would like to donate so please also let me know if you are interested in helping in that capacity.  It would warm her heart to even hear any kind words so I can also deliver any cards to her as well. 

This is my chance and anyone else that wants to join in giving back to Anndrea, someone that so many of us love tremendously.
