Help for Andrew Huff's return home

My name is Corrine. I am the wife of Andrew (Andy) Huff. We have two children (& two four legged children) who still live at home with us. On Friday, November 8th, Andrew went into full cardiac arrest (and DKA). I found him on our living room floor without a pulse and not breathing. This was one of the most scary, terrifying moments of my life. He was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in critical condition after over 30 minutes of CPR and life saving measures. His body temp was 82 and blood glucose was over 1100, among many other issues. He was then in a coma on a ventilator for 4 days. When Andrew awoke it was nothing short of a miracle in my eyes. Each day he has made strides toward improvement. His ability to speak has come back and improved more every day. He is able to eat on his own now however, has a PEG feeding tube in place for the extra nutrients. He suffers from short term memory loss as well as some long term loss going back to what I can only guess based on his questions, approximately 3-4 years. On Thursday, November 21st, Andrew was discharged to an Inpatient Rehab Facility where he is working on regaining his strength physically, mentally and emotionally. This is a day by day process. He is highly motivated to come home. He tells anyone who will listen, each day since he could talk, how much he misses his dogs and family (in that order lol) and just wants to get home. 
As I write this out I am struggling with the fact that I am even doing so. Everything seems so surreal lately. It's really not in my nature to ask for help but I know, I just can't do all that needs done on my own.  I know there are going to be large amounts of medical bills in our future. I also am going to need to either partially remodel one our bathrooms for handicap accessibility or add things like a walk in shower, lower toilet with handles, etc. I also have to have a handrail put in on our front porch steps, possibly get a new bed that he can easily get in and out of, he will need a new pump and sensors that I can connect to my phone to monitor his blood glucose levels from outside the house, plus, I'm sure there are other things that I just haven't thought of yet.
As of now Andrew is off work from AAM on short term disability. I don't know how long he'll be off or if he'll ever be able to return. It is  still too early to know. We hope for the best but just can't be certain and I won't make any guesses. I have been off work for the majority of the last two weeks as well. My hope is to be back to a somewhat normal schedule as Andrew works his way through the Inpatient Rehab program at Borgess. Again, I don't know how long he will be here or if he will need to be in another Inpatient facility (ie: Hope Network, Skilled Nursing) after this journey but I'm trying to prepare for whatever life has in store for our future.
I know I will probably be asking for help  with meals in the very near future or around the house as it comes time to do any modifications we'll need and as we get a better understanding of what our future looks like.
