Help for Aaron McGee, cancer wont stop him

Hi, My name is Cicelia McGee, I am fundraising for Aaron McGee. He was diagnosed in December 2021 with Neuroendocrine cancer, stage 4 cancer, he had five tumors removed and 10 feet of his small intestines. Aaron is 40 years old with no prior health issues; this was shocking. He was initially given about 10 years to live with this cancer and I immediately began to do the math of how old our daughter would be in 10 years. We hope he'll live to see her graduate from high school, but there is uncertainty. We have an awesome 9-year-old daughter, Mila, although our marriage didn't work out, I care about him, and I care tremendously about their happiness. She adores her father and I'm fundraising so that they can create memories & have adventures together while he's still here.

 

He is currently working remotely; he briefly took time off for his surgery and to recover; there is no extra money after paying his bills. He has begun a monthly injection to slow the spread of the cancer and he has discomfort daily in his stomach. My hope and prayer for him is to enjoy life more and work less while spending as much time as possible with his daughter. Aaron is a proud man, not one to ask for help; given his height/size, he can seem intimidating to some, but he is a gentle person on the inside..this devastating diagnosis has forever changed his life and Mila’s. I will ensure that the money is spent on cherished memories with his children, he has an adult son as well, AJ.
