Help for a Seizure Dog for Jeremy

My son, Jeremy Johnson, has had violent epilepsy for over 24 years. Actually, he has 3 different types of seizures. He would greatly benefit from a seizure assistance/seizure alert dog. This dog would help him to be more independent and manage his seizures better. If the dog could alert him to know when a seizure is going to start (as he has no way of knowing when a seizure will happen) he would be able to be in a safer environment which will assure he will not hurt himself or others! If he does have a seizure, the dog can be taught to protect him during a seizure, alert someone to get him help, and even get meds to him to get take so he does not have continuous seizures.
Though we we have tried many medications and multiple medications at a time, these are not presently controlling his seizures. We had to recently change his s medicatiion as it was causing extreme memory loss. At that time, but, he couldn’t even answer basic questions! He has tried so hard to continue to work, but complications resulted due changing medications and side effects of taking the multiple medications without control of the seizures. He presently has no income coming in and lives with me (his mother).
I am using Go Fund me as we have found an organization that we feel offers a good seizure alert/seizure assistance dog at a reasonable cost. The dog has to go through 15+ months of training. Thus, the dog will not be placed until then. To start the process, we must put down $1000 and have to pay $3,500 additional by the time we can take home the dog which will be especially trained for Jeremy’s situation.
I know that not everyone can give a financial contribution. If you can’t, we do understand but please do pray for us as we proceed to find solutions to get his seizures under control and find ways to keep him safe. You are appreciated either way.
