Help for Kole!
On July 3, 2021 Kole Blackmore was in a dirt bike accident while staying with family in Missouri and received severe brain trauma. When he was found, he was unresponsive with a faint pulse and estimated to have been that way for about 5 hrs. He was life flighted to the Springfield hospital where he was rushed into surgery. The Dr’s discovered he has epidural hematoma or a bleeder between the skull and brain that is putting pressure on the brain. Their priority now is to stabilize the pressure in his brain before they can do further tests to understand the extent of his injury.
Because of the severity of his injury and how long he was without oxygen, he has been transported to the Saint Louis Children’s hospital to be with more specialized care. His sister Ellie was allowed to go with him and has been by his side. ❤️
Yesterday was a long, hard day for Kole’s mom, Sharon Johnson. She is a country apart and her momma heart is aching to be with her son.
This go fund me was created to help ease the financial burden for Kole and his family as they navigate these difficult next steps. Kole did not have medical insurance in the states and his family will be facing astronomical medical bills.
