Help Fireman John Strickland with medical bills

As many of you know, my dad, John Strickland has been diagnosed with lung cancer and is being treated at MD Anderson here in Houston. Fortunately, he is able to stay with us at our house in Houston and I can take the care of him to the best of my ability. He has started chemotherapy and is taking it like a champ. He has almost no side-effects from the chemo. He has lung cancer that has spread throughout the right side of his body. He is having a partial hip replacement in 11 days where they will remove the femoral neck and hip where the cancer has metastasized and remove any other cancer they see in that area. Then, he will continue with chemo/radiation to beat this beast that has invaded his body. We are beyond thankful that he is being treated by the number one cancer center in the US. We would like to request prayers for his recovery. Many, many people feel helpless and have asked what they can do to help. Again, we ask for prayers but if you would like to donate to help with the mounting co-pays and medical bills he decided that he would accept some help. As many of you know, that was a difficult decision for him. Thank you for loving him. All funds will be managed by me and 100% will go to medical bills only or care for him, nothing will be wasted or spent in a frivolous manner.
