Help Fiona : after Hurricane Irma

You are all well aware that our favorite island of St. Maarten  took a devastating hit from Hurricane Irma in the recent past. Although our dear friend Fiona Carling does still have her apartment, she has lost possessions to the flooding.  The past year wasn't an easy one financially for our friend. Tourism and tips had been way down on the island. Fi  was very excited to start her new job with Rainforest Adventures. Since this is a tourist based business, who knows how long it will be before she will have an income.

We know Fiona would never ask for help....but we thought many of you would like to assist her in some small way.

She has been through hell with this hurricane so we have decided to reach out and ask for just a little to make her life a bit easier in the next few uncertain months. It's not easy to choose a monetary amount but it's necessary to start with a gofundme account. Since you generously may be helping other, no amount is to small.
