Help Us Fight the Amazon Fires

Donation protected
The Amazon is burning, and we want to help the animals affected by the fires.

Claudia Llanos, a close friend and associate of our agency for over 25 years, is from Bolivia and is working directly with her friends there to provide Bolivian veterinarians and other volunteers with the things they need to take immediate action in helping the animals that are suffering while also working to stop the spread of the fires.

We can help by sending money to pay for burn creams, antibiotics, water pumps, food and more for the animals, as well as machetes and trench-digging tools for local farmers and other volunteers who are working to create firebreaks to prevent the fires from spreading further.

We’re getting this fund started with a contribution of $3,500. It’s not nearly enough, but it’s a start, and with your help we hope to raise a total of $35,000.

The Amazon rain forest is called “the lungs of the earth” because it produces more than 20% of the world’s oxygen. This means everyone on our planet is affected by this devastation. Helping stop the fires while helping the afflicted animals is not just the right thing to do, it’s essential for our future. Please join us in helping this essential cause.
