Please help Felicity get to the Paralympics

Hi! My name is Felicity, and I am fundraising to realise my dream of competing at the Paralympic Games in Equestrian-2024!

 

I have been riding horses my whole life and have always dreamed of competing internationally with my horses. Unfortunately, in 2017, I was involved in a terrible accident where my spine was shattered and left me wheelchair-bound as a person with paraplegia. It's not all bad! Since then, I have had a baby boy who is now 3yrs old and have been able to ride a horse again, but it will never be the same.

Due to my injury, I am now classed as a "para" dressage rider, and that qualifies me for the Paralympic games; if I satisfy the qualification criteria. This means attending certain events to compete and unfortunately some are interstate so that is a big financial cost to get there and stay for the duration of the event.

 

I cannot do this alone; I really wish I could! But I need your help! I am good enough to make it to the Paralympic games, so please believe in me! 2024 is just around the corner!

Words will not describe the gratitude I feel for your support. My injury was such a lifechanging event and I feel lucky to just be alive, but fulfilling this dream is something I have to do, not only for myself but for the disabled community and encourage those in doubt to never give up; abled or disabled.
