Help family of 3 pay bills during COVID

Hi, my name is Irwin Zuko. I am a non-binary, autistic diabetic with multiple health ailments in college studying for a degree in anthropology and studio arts. I live with my hypertensive/sick mother, my sister that has multiborbidity, and my emotional support dog.

One year later and our situation is still the same. The different COVID variants threaten myself and my high risk family. We have tried our best to make ends meet using money from our school scholarships, leaving us without a much for school supplies or even buying healthy groceries. My own medical conditions have worsened and I've been in the hospital and multiple other doctors' appointments trying to help out with new neurological problems I've developed. It almost feels shameful to ask again for help, but I truly do not want to be homeless for a fourth time in my life. If you could spare any money to help me and my family I would be extremely grateful.

I’m making this Go Fund Me campaign in order to ask for help raising money for our bills, rent, food for our specific dietary restrictions and possibly to start a fund to get my dog autism/emotional support training. The reason is that my stepdad of 12 years recently abandoned my family because we (my mom, sister, and I) found out he had been cheating on my mom with another woman. He was the person who made most of the money and paid the rent due to the fact that my sister and I are often sick and trying to focus on college/work study and my mom has severe allergies that hinder her from finding jobs easily. Now that he’s gone my family is looking for jobs that can allow us to make enough for rent but keep us safe from COVID. This money would help with keeping us afloat while we get additional jobs to help keep a more stable income.



Earlier this year we were homeless for 5 months and the month after we finally got a home to rent my grandmother passed away. Now this is happening. This all has taken a toll on my family’s mental health and the urge to keep going sometimes fees like it’s dwindling. It’s very hard for me to even make this campaign as asking for help in this way brings me some amount of shame but I really don’t want to give up. Any help that can be given would be really appreciated. Even sharing this would be appreciated.
