Sharing the burden. Evan and Megan
If you clicked on this link, you may be having a bit of deja vu right now. Especially if you are familiar with the Beard Family Journey.
If you’re just joining in on the journey, welcome! We have a Facebook page set up to keep everyone updated.
Unfortunately, this is another chapter to a book that we had all hoped to be done reading.
In short, Evan’s cancer has returned. He starts his next round of chemo treatments in the first week of August through to the end of the year. If you have experienced yourself or know someone has gone through chemo, then you know what that does and how hard it is.
Thankfully, he has insurance that will cover the majority of what will come monetarily. But if you’ve been through even mild medical hardship, you know that even having insurance is often not enough to keep your ahead above water when normal life’s money requirements don’t stop.
So what I'm asking of you here is to help them carry that burden again. I’ve set a goal of $15k. I think that’s a reasonable amount, and I think it’s enough to help them navigate the coming months confidently.
To know the Beard’s is to love the Beard’s. I imagine many of you are nodding your heads in affirmation as you read that.
