Help evacuate my family from Gaza

My name is Ahmed Alassar, and I am reaching out with an urgent plea for assistance during these incredibly challenging times. My family, living in Gaza, continues to face the devastating aftermath of ongoing war on Gaza. Not long ago, my mother, Najwa Alassar, underwent open-heart surgery, and while she has shown tremendous strength, her need for ongoing medical attention is critical for her sustained recovery.

Adding to our hardships, our home was recently damaged by a near by airstrike, leaving us without a safe and stable place to live. The compounded effects of these circumstances have put an immense strain on our family's well-being.

In the midst of this chaos, the escalating violence and instability have made it increasingly difficult for us to access the necessary medical care for my mother. Obtaining permits to cross the borders for her vital treatment comes at a significant cost of $7500 per permit, and with five members, the expenses escalate rapidly.

We urgently seek to raise $37000 to cover the costs of these permits and ensure safe passage for my family. Your generous contribution will not only help us secure the permits required for my mother's medical care but will also provide the opportunity for my siblings to continue their education in a safer environment away from conflict.

Your generous contributions provide my family with the opportunity to evacuate Gaza into a safer environment away from the conflict.

I initiated this campaign with the goal of raising $37,000 to cover the prices of the permits. After careful review, it has become evident that the initial estimate of the funds needed was underestimated. The price for the permits have increased dramatically due to the demand.

Here is a breakdown of the funds:

$42,500 for Permits: The bulk of the funds, $42,500, crucial to cover the cost associated with obtaining the permits to leave Gaza through the Egypt-Gaza border in Rafah. The amount breaks down to $8,500 per person, including both my parents, my three siblings.
