Help evacuate mother and baby daughter from Gaza

Hello, my name is Hatem from Deir El Balah, Gaza. My wife, Nuha, and one-year old daughter, Julia, are currently stranded in Gaza and I need your help to evacuate them to safety.

In Gaza, Nuha and I worked as dentists, but the dire economic, safety, and health conditions led me to leave Gaza last September and apply for asylum in France. Here, I have been trying to raise enough money to get Nuha and Julia out of Gaza to safety. I have spent the last seven months looking for work, but have not found a stable income, and therefore haven’t been able to raise the required funds to save my family in Gaza. I need to raise $14K (fourteen thousand dollars) so that Nuha and Julia can travel through the Rafah crossing into Egypt, which is the only way for them to evacuate. Desperately, I appeal to you to help me see my family again.

My wife and daughter, like other civilians in Gaza, have been under fire and the situation has become impossible to bear. Every day brings another threat of death: bombings, bullets, lack of medicine and food, and the spread of infectious diseases due to lack of water and proper sanitation.

My daughter Julia cries constantly, if not out of fear of the missiles and explosions, then because the markets have run out of baby milk and diapers. She turned one last month.

During the past five months of war, I have done everything I can to get Nuha and Julia out of Gaza and reunite my family. I have sought help from civil society institutions, humanitarian organizations, and embassies. None have been able to save my family.

My sister, Yasmine, was able to raise enough money to evacuate her family through Rafah Crossing and my only option is to do the same. Your support may be the reason for restoring the smile of this war-torn family.
