Help with Esteban's Road to Recovery

On Saturday, July 10th, 2021 our dearest friend Esteban was involved in a tragic car accident. It occurred at 11:30am at the intersection of 6th Ave. and Excelsior Ave. in Hanford when another vehicle ran through a stop sign. His dog Moose and girlfriend, were both passengers in his car and died upon impact.

Esteban was initially taken to Kaweah Health, however, he was needed to be transferred to a higher acuity care facility. He is currently being treated at San Jose Regional Medical Center for his multiple injuries. He is in a stable condition, but is he experiencing a lot of pain and currently on a ventilator to help him breathe. He will be in need of several surgeries that will take place once the fever he is experiencing subsides.

As all of his family resides in Mexico, receiving this news was absolutely heartbreaking and devastating especially with them being so far away. With the love and care of his close friends, we all worked and coordinated tirelessly together to bring his mother, and sister to San Jose to be by his side. Any support for Esteban and his family to help them get through this difficult moment in time would be most appreciated. His road to recovery is long ahead and his family will need lodging and essentials for the foreseeable months to come to continue to be by his side.

Esteban is a kind hearted individual and beloved member of our community with a big passion for teaching. His students and coworkers where he teaches are devastated by the news. We thank you for taking your time to help out Esteban in any way that you can. Times are tough, so we understand if providing financial support for him might not be possible. Nevertheless, we ask that you continue to pray for him and send him the warmest most positive vibes so that he may have a quick healing process and recovery. We also ask that you help us share this with any friends and family you may know.

All fundraised proceeds will go directly to pay for medical expenses and cover for Esteban's care and his family's lodging.
