Help Erv in his Fight for Cancer Treatment

Hello, My name is Joe Minucci and I am fundraising for Erv Puckett with an urgent appeal for my dear friend in his fight against cancer.

Erv is 57 years old and has been fighting cancer for 5 years. He was first diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017. He underwent surgery and they removed his left lung followed by chemotherapy which was successful.

In 2020 he was then diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had to go under another surgery removing much of his pancreas and his spleen, followed by another round of chemotherapy. Sadly, he got covid and had to stop treatment for 12 weeks. After recovering from Covid he resumed treatment and by the grace of God his cancer went into remission.... Until 1 week ago.. Further testing showed cancerous cells and 3 small tumors were detected in his liver and 1 in his lymph nodes.

As a result, he will have to undergo 26 weeks of chemotherapy starting March 14th. Unfortunately, his insurance will only cover 80% leaving him unable to cover the additional cost of his treatment.

Those of you who know Erv, know that he is an extraordinarily kind human being. He is cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong, and always puts God, family, and his friends before himself. He is my friend and knowing him has been a true blessing to myself and to my family - and all that know him.

After having deep conversations with him about his situation the one statement he has said to me that shows what kind of selfless man he is.... Is this

" My biggest prayer is not so much that I am healed, but that I have more time with my wife and kids and to share with others that God is real and that he loves all and there is a place for anyone who believes."

One of Erv's biggest concerns in asking for help is that he did not want to ask others for financial support. I assured him that he is not..... We Are.
