Help Ernie fix their truck !

In October, I left my job rather suddenly because of a toxic work environment. Since then I’ve been working odd jobs while job hunting and have now found two jobs: one doesn’t start fully for another few weeks. The other job I am working 5 days a week on a ranch in Castro Valley, and I just finished my second week. I drive my 89 ford to work and back, and depend on it for that. This truck in the 6 months I’ve had it has already helped 5 queers move, and comfortably transported many folx to appointments, grocery stores, work, etc. 

This morning, it wouldn’t start. I suspect the starter failed, and I am using this fundraiser to try to get it fixed so I can make it to work for my next shift on Tuesday. The $700 I’m asking for will cover the repairs, the cost of the alternate transportation I took today, and a full tank of gas. If this fundraiser were to exceed the goal, that money would be used
to replace my headlight bulbs/blinker bulbs that are out and maybe even get some brake repairs that Ineed done eventually.

It’s very hard to ask for help, as we all know, but truly anything helps.
