Hiya! My name is erin. If you know me, then you might know that it has been a challenging couple of years. I know that we all go through rough patches and this year has been a challenge for many, but I also believe in the power of community.
I'm starting over at 40. I don't say it as a negative or a positive thing. It's simply what's happening for me at this time in my life. And it would be that much more challenging for me if I have to surrender my car.
As the year comes to an end, I'm asking for help one last time. Without my car, it would be harder to find an in-person job or to move back to Austin when I'm back on my feet. I also help my mom with errands now that I'm back home, and I won't be able to do so without a car.
When I bought it in 2020, I didn't think I would be here, so close to paying it off but having a hard time finding a job.
So, I'm asking for any amount you can spare. Whether that's $1, $5, or $100, I believe that no amount is too small and community, when united, can do amazing things.
