Help Eric and his people rebuild their way of life

Hi my name is Steve and I am starting this GoFundMe page for Eric and his employees after a sudden catastrophic fire that leveled the structure that generated the bulk of the revenue that not only supports Eric's way of life but also the way of life of his employees on 4-29-21. Now I know what your thinking..... insurance will cover all of this. True insurance will cover this catastrophe but only to the limits of the policy and in a time where Covid19 has affected literally everything the cost of building has increased exponentially i.e. 2X4's are approx $10 a piece whereas they were $3 a piece just a short time ago. This all means that the policy that is in place most likely will not cover the increased costs.

Then there are the employees. These people turn wrenches for a living and like any mechanic they provide their own tools. A business insurance policy only covers a very small portion of their loss..... that's not Eric's fault ..... that's just the way it works, and while that will help these people have literally invested THOUSANDS of dollars over their lifetime buying tools for their craft they will never be able to absorb the cost of replacing these items in such a short time to be able to continue their way of life.

Lastly there is the time factor. Insurance claims take time...... especially for a fire!! Everything has a process and that process is time consuming. Which begs the question of what do these people do while this process takes place?? They can't just go get another job....... remember they don't have any tools anymore..... and in an industry where you have to provide your own equipment....... well let's just say that you're not very marketable.

In closing I would just like to ask for ANY help anyone can provide. These people need help SOON!! Thee insurance process can literally take months. I know times are tough right now but please try and put yourself in the position that these people have just been suddenly thrust into and think to yourself if that was you......... how scared would you be if you suddenly didn't have the means to make a living. The size of the donation doesn't matter!! All that matters is we help the people in need in any way we can. Thanks in advance for ANYTHING you can spare!!
