My name is Lolita, and I'm fundraising for myself.
I am a 33 year old single mum, and I was diagnosed with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome (which occurs when there are varicose veins around the ovaries) in December, last year.
After the NHS strikes, millions of people with serious illnesses are in a 2 year waiting list or Eve longer to be seen by specialists. I am one of them.
To treat this condition, I need treatment called vein embolisation.
The NHS can only offer appointments for next year in the summer.
Without this treatment, I am left temporarily disabled.
Private clinics in London offer treatments starting from £4079.
I desperately need this treatment as soon as possible.
PCS isn't life threatening, but it cause lots of suffering every single day and night. It involves problems with blood flow in my pelvic veins. The blood flows backwards, causing my veins to swell and twist.
In order to cope until my treatment, I need to take strong painkillers every day for the next year and possibly more. Time in my case is really important as my condition is extremely severe, and it is worsening. It can lead to surgery to remove my uterus and ovaries and possibly lead to kidney and liver failure, if I do no get urgent medical care soon.
This money could really help me to stop suffering.
I am raising my son alone, and my sudden disability not only impacts me but also him and his life.
I wish for a little help from others, which will make a big difference in mine and my son's life.
My disability has left me without a job.This money will help me get treatment this year, and I will be able to make beautiful memories with my son this year. My heart is breaking when he doesn't understand why I am not the same.I am suffering alone and losing hope. Whilst trying to stay strong for both of us.
This money will help my son have back that mummy who could run with him in the park and take him out without him seeing me in pain. It will help me get back the joy in life without suffering pain and help take care of my son the way I wish to and every little child deserves.
