**Help Empower a Future Leader from Cochabamba! **
Dear friends,
I am reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a bright and ambitious high school student from my beloved hometown, Cochabamba. As someone who personally experienced the transformative power of education through a scholarship, I am passionate about paying it forward and providing a similar chance for another deserving individual.
This initiative aims to support a scholarship for a student to participate in the prestigious Female Future Leaders Programme at Cambridge. Many years ago, as I prepared my applications to colleges in the US, my advisor, Mitch Champi, gave me the best advice and that was to join Mount Holyoke College, a women's college. It was not all roses; it was hard work but at the end I learned so much and made valuable friends for a lifetime. I believe that programs that empower girls and women to be leaders are extremely important given our current context. We all could benefit from more women at key decision roles. Exposure to diverse perspectives and cultures is crucial for personal and professional growth. By contributing to this scholarship, you are not only investing in an individual's education but also fostering a future leader who will bring positive change back to our community AND we need this!
**Why Cambridge? **
The Immerse Female Future Leaders Programme at Cambridge offers a unique opportunity for women to enhance their leadership skills, gain valuable insights, and connect with a global network of change-makers. Empowering a woman to participate in this program is a step towards building a more inclusive and diverse future.
**Why Nury? **
Nury is smart, gentle, compassionate, and ready to take the world. She excels at school and is constantly looking for opportunities to advance her knowledge and the lives of others around her. She has already been selected for several “women in STEM” programs locally, volunteers at the food bank, and has been accepted and gained the partial scholarship for the immerse program which hosts The Female Future Leadership Program. Nury has a caring and supportive family that has instilled in her a passion to think about the world around her. For Nury, who is enrolled in a preparatory high school supported by the state university, where students from various backgrounds come together, some classmates even balancing their studies with part-time work to make ends meet, attending the immerse program in Cambridge is a testament to hard work, resilience and commitment to one's goals.
**How You Can Help: **
Your generous contribution will directly fund the deposit and partial scholarship already granted to Nury as well as travel expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact.
**Share and Spread the Word: **
Even if you are unable to contribute financially, you can still make a significant impact by sharing this message with your network. Together, we can empower a future leader.
Thank you for considering this heartfelt appeal. Let's come together to make education and leadership opportunities accessible to all!
With gratitude,
Claudia Ricaldez
