Help Elisa & Family Rebuild Their Lives

On November 23rd, Elisa, her children Xavier and Valencia, and her mother Verla lost their home, all of their possessions, and two of their beloved cats in a fire.
We are raising funds to help them get back on their feet. They have been through tremendous losses and changes in the recent years. Elisa lost her husband and children's father tragically in 2012, uprooted her family from Arizona to the east coast to be closer to her family while she went back to school to earn her second master's degree in counseling, and then lost her father (Verla's husband of 42 years) shortly after she moved to Massachusetts upon graduation. She was starting to get settled in the new life she and her family worked hard rebuilding when this terrible devastation struck them.
Elisa is a single mom who works full time as a family therapist for deaf children and adults. She works long hours and puts her heart into supporting her clients through various crises. The family depends on Elisa's income and needs financial support while they wait for the insurance to come through with coverage, which may take several months. They have lost pretty much everything including treasured pictures and family heirlooms, and they are staying at a hotel at the moment with the clothes they had on when they escaped the fire.
Any amount you can spare to help Elisa and her family during this heartbreaking time would be greatly appreciated, especially with the holidays and cold weather coming up. They need money for basic essentials including food, gas, and other expenses, while they rebuild their lives.
