Help Electric Girls Robotics Team GO to State!

Electric Girls is raising money to pay for insurance, transportation, and team registration costs for the upcoming VEX-IQ Robotics Louisiana State Championship in Lake Charles on Saturday, February 29th!
We are SO excited that our first Robotics Team has made it to the state level. When we started this program in the Fall of 2019, we didn't realize how far we'd be able to go! We've never traveled outside of New Orleans before. This is an incredible educational opportunity, and we are determined to get our team to Lake Charles so that they can have this experience!
Any amount you are able to give will make an impact, but we need to reach our goal by Feb 28th!!!
About Electric Girls:
Electric Girls builds girls confidence and capabilities by engaging them through STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Electric Girls builds girls skills and gives them the space, resources, and guidance to implement these skills into their own self-directed projects and inventions that they design, build, present, and take home. Girls in our program earn badges when they learn a new skill and pass it on to a fellow Electric Girl; this emphasis on mentorship is what makes Electric Girls unique and effective.
We seek to ensure that at least half of all program participants are eligible to receive a full-tuition scholarship to participate in our programs. Electric Girls creates learning spaces where girls learn with and from each other, rooted in the belief that every girl deserves the opportunity to develop and strengthen her skills in STEM.
