Help elderly widow get main line pipe replaced

Hello, my name is Monique. I'm the daughter of Jessie. My mom is in desperate need of help at this time. She recently lost her husband (my dad) of 58 years. He lost his battle to Prostate Cancer in October 2021. Since 1966 this has been the only home Mom has known. She has been considered the neighborhood mom. She directly assisted many with care before pre-school through high school.

Upon my dad's death, it was discovered that there was a large mortgage on the house and a lien. This was a shocking discovery for mom.

On February 11th, mom called out a plumber because she believed a blockage was in the pipes. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The plumber discovered that the main line pipe to the street has busted under the house. The estimate to have the pipe replaced is a shocking $16,000 to $22,000. Unfortunately, Mom is in no position to pay to have it replaced. Since dad's passing, mom is currently living on less than $2,000 per month.

I'm asking for your help. Our family has come forward to assist in covering the mortgage and other expenses to keep mom in her home. This issue is the straw that can break a strong woman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. If you can find it in your heart to contribute in any way, she would greatly appreciate it. We all would. I appreciate any help you can provide.
