Help educate girls around the world

Seven-year-old Riley loves school and learning. This year for Hanukkah, she received a globe from her aunt and uncle.  Over winter break, we created a project for her. Each day she would spin the globe and learn about whatever country she landed on.

The first day, Riley landed on The Gambia in Africa. While learning about this country, Riley saw a picture of a classroom there, and was upset by the condition of it. Through our discussion, Riley learned that not all children, and especially not all girls, have access to the same educational opportunities as her.  

Riley was inspired by what she learned and wants to help girls all over the world receive an education. We looked up different organizations and decided on Malala Fund.
