Help Edly - Hit and Run Victim in VA Beach
Donation protected
On the morning of June 18th, our friend Edly O'Neal while walking in her Virginia Beach, VA neighborhood became a victim of a hit and run. She was struck by the car and knocked unconscious as she was approaching her home landing in a nearby ditch.
When she regained consciousness, it was determined that she was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital. Later Edly was transferred to Norfolk General - a Level 1 trauma center.
Currently, the VA Beach police department is investigating the incident.
Edly is a wonderful person, great friend and Mom . She is a very positive person and greets everyone with a smile. Edly is employed at 3800 Oceanfront as the building manager and was previously the manager at the Mayflower apartments. She just recently bought a new home.
The reality is that Edly will have lots of medical costs and challenges as she works to heal.
Her friends at 3800 Oceanfront have created a Gofundme campaign that we will be supporting. We want to reach out to the VA Beach community to invite them to help support her while she recovers and to offset some of the financial burden caused by this accident.
The community's embrace and support of one of VA Beach's own is welcome and appreciated.
