Thank your for taking the time to watch my story and how life is unfolding for me! This time last year I would be cringing at the thought of asking friends and family for financial support. But I believe in a God that endlessly pursues and wants to grow his children in faith and in love. It's been hard swallowing my pride but I also know that humility is a strong foundation for growth. I understand I'm asking for A LOT of help, it seems impossible to me. When I talked to my good friend and long time pastor about this opportunity, he reassured me that "Our God is in the business of doing the impossible." Altogether i'd be in Muizenberg, South Africa for a total of 18 months. I'd be participating in an 'Experience The Word' program which consists of a 6 month Discipleship Training School(DTS) and a 10 month School of Biblical Studies(SBS). The DTS portion involves a 3 month lecture phase to prepare your for a 3 month outreach mission to a to be determined location. I'd return to Muizenberg to begin a 9 month SBS course where i'd be systematically studying all 66 books of the bible. This program begins September 24, 2018. LIKE IN A FEW MONTHS. Nothing has ever come easy for me in life and I'd need to raise at least a quarter of my goal by my leave date to participate. Through out all this craziness, I know that this is something God has called me to do. I know I'd be gone for quite some time but I'd be building my foundation on this experience and knowledge I find in South Africa. The end goal is to come home ready and willing to change Paso Robles for the better. If you feel led to partner with me, amazing!
