Help earthquake survivor 2-year-old Umay to start a new life; she lost her mother, father, brother, grandparents, uncle and aunt.

We are reaching out to you today to raise funds for Umay, a brave two-year-old girl who has suffered unimaginable loss and devastation. Umay survived the massive earthquake that hit Turkey, which tragically claimed the lives of over 100,000 people, including her mother, father, brother, grandparents, grandmothers, uncle, and aunt. Umay was found alive near the rubble of a collapsed building, a true miracle in the face of such destruction. She waited for someone to help her the entire night, all alone, until the next day.

We have shared a picture of Umay on the fundraiser page, which shows her resilience and strength in the face of immense tragedy.

She has only one relative left in the world who can support her- her uncle, who lives abroad in the UK.

We cannot begin to fathom the trauma and pain that Umay has endured. As she starts a new life with her uncle in a foreign country, she needs our help to ensure that she has access to the basic necessities of life. The funds we raise will be used to cover the cost of Umay's legal fees to reunite her with her uncle, as well as her healthcare, shelter, food, clothing, and other essentials that she needs to thrive. Additionally, your contribution will help to support Umay's education and provide her with the opportunity to build a brighter future for herself.
