Help Dwight Erickson

Donation protected
Dwight is 55 years old and was diagnosed over a year a go with Parkinson's Disease with onset dementia. He hasn't been able to work since August, 2017.

Dwight is a very generous person. One example of his abundance of caring is in 2011 when he went to his 30th High School Reunion. While there, he met up with a former classmate, Scott, whom Dwight vaguely remembered from high school. After speaking with Scott for a short time, Dwight later found out that Scott had polycystic kidney disease. Upon hearing this, Dwight immediately stated that he was going to donate a kidney to Scott, and he did so a few months later in April, 2012.

Dwight worked as a Project Manager for many years for a nationally known company, however, things started to go wrong for him a few years ago. He was having trouble remembering things. He was extremely overwhelmed with events that had normally been easy for him to handle. Dwight had always been very easy going, however, his mood changed and he was becoming quick tempered.  No one knew what was going on and everyone, especially Dwight, was frustrated. Finally, and very unfortunately, Dwight received his diagnosis - Parkinson's Disease with onset dementia. This diagnosis has devastated his wife and family.  Finances have become a struggle as Social Security Disability won't begin for several more months and, as stated, he has been unable to work for over a year. His wife has been in childcare for over 30 years and continues, but, with on-going doctor's appointments and tests, money is short.

Dwight has great faith and God is very important in his life. If you cannot donate, please pray.

This is being put together by great friends of Dwight and Sandy ~ Ann and Dan.

Thank you.
