Help Duffy Family w/ Cancer Expense

For the past year, Greg has been battling a highly aggressive bladder cancer.  He's had 5 surgeries, several rounds of chemo and radiation, and countless days and nights in the hospital. At this point, they're out of options. Insurance has denied their request for an experimental treatment, and his doctors are recommending hospice in a care facility. During this fight, Kristin has been providing their family's sole income while also caring for Greg and raising Libby, their 8-year-old daughter. This has meant lost wages for missing work while Greg was in the hospital and to go to doctors appointments, finding child care after school and through the summer so she could be there to speak to doctors, paying for hospital dinners and take-out when there was no time for cooking, extra gas and parking, and a myriad of other expenses that add up. 

Over the coming weeks or months, Kristin will need to take additional unpaid FMLA to meet with doctors, spend time with family, help Libby cope, and say goodbye to her husband.

Your donation will help Kristin supplement the lost income and pay the additional expenses as the Duffys spend their remaining time together, and will help with medical bills and funeral arrangements when the time comes.
