Squamish

On the evening of Friday Feb 28, my friend was driving in front of the Independent Grocery Store when she unexpectedly stuck a women and child. The child did not survive. See story post below.
The drivers two children were in the car as well. Distraction, speed, drugs, and alcohol have been ruled out.
Her family is very shook up as you can inmagine. This family has been wonderful contributors to our community and needs our support too.
Please help this family by contributing funds towards loss of wages, food, counseling perhaps, anything to reduce their stress while they process this trauma. The driver is very distraught but safe with support. Her close friend was a witness. Her kids are a bit shooken up.

Names are protected for now out of respect to the families involved.

Thank you for your support.
