Help Dr. Don with Portrait Fee for CAHF

You might have heard that in July 2021, Dr. Don was named as one of this year’s inductees into the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame .

With this honour comes the obligation to raise $ 5,000 to pay for a portrait of Dr. Don to be added to the permanent collection of the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame. Maybe, just like me, your life has been impacted by Dr. Don. Maybe he was your professor, your mentor, or your colleague. If so, he probably also became your friend.

In celebration of Dr. Don’s impact in our life and this tremendous accomplishment, would you be able to contribute a small amount to help cover the expenses of this portrait?

Dr. Don has made a stellar contribution to Canadian agriculture and food law, as a professor, researcher, advocate, and author. He has written, alone or with co-authors, the authoritative texts in this field. His style is to explore the issues that are, and will be, impacting the sector and to team-build to find the best solutions.

As you know though, Dr. Don is not only professionally motivated to bring out the best in agriculture and food law, but he also brings out the best in the people he meets. Encouraging young legal minds to pursue the possibilities to enhance Canada's agriculture sector through proper regulation has been one of his missions throughout his career.

His expertise, his passion, and his joie de vivre make him an outstanding individual. Also, I can’t think of a better person to share the benefits of Canadian agriculture with. In addition to being an outstanding chef, Dr. Don would not miss the opportunity to share a good meal with good company. Maybe you've been to one of Dr. Don’s dinner parties.
