Help Donna fight Brain cancer

Donation protected
After already survived stage 4 cervical cancer in 2013 my mother Donna was unfortunatley diagnosed with liver and lung cancer last year which is sadly incurable and has undergone full treatment chemotherapy to try and shrink the cancer and keep it at a small size knowing that it will always be there. After months on end of having treatment Donna had a check up a week ago to see how the cancer was responding to chemo and we received great news saying that the liver and lung were both clear of cancer which was the most exciting news she had heard and I have not seen her smile like that in a long time. Unfortunately we were also advised that they could see a few small spots on the brain but could not confirm at this stage if it was cancer or not so she needed to have a MRI scan and all we could do at this stage was hope and pray that for the best considering what she had already been through. A scan on the brain was done and results came back, it was so deeply devestating to be told by the doctor that the cancer has now spread to the brain and she has quite a few tumors inside and outside of the brain which the chemotherapy wasn't getting too. After Donna's life taking a turn for the worst twice already this really has put things into perspective for the family and has impacted eveyone severely especially my mum.

Donna now has to undergo 2 full weeks of radiation to see if the cancer responds well to treatment and she has to face yet again the reality of not getting her hair back after already losing it early this year, this has caused depression for Donna being a 46 year old woman of 5 children and not knowing what the outcome will be.  Whilst undergoing chemotherapy on and off since 2013 this leaves Donna feeling weak and sick for days sometimes unable to perform daily tasks leaving her unable to work which has put a massive strain on the family with financial isues, which then puts alot of stress on her.

For those of you who know Donna you will know she is a loving caring mother of 5 children who is always there to lend a hand to anyone in need and always there for support, no matter how hard it is for her to come to terms with being diagnosed for the third time with cancer she always manages to have a smile on her face. Donna has been a hard worker all her life from a young age providing for her family and ensuring everyone is well looked after. I just want to do anything I can to help my mum throughout this terrible time in her life and take some stress off her.
