Help Eduardo Boa’s Medical Expenses

This Gofund me account is set up for my friend, Donna Boa’s father medical expenses. Her father is still in the ICU after suffering from Hemorrhagic Stroke. He had undergone surgery and will need another one in the future. The hospital bill has already reach $40,000 as of now.

On January 9th, after working whole day, Mr Eduardo was rushed to the hospital due to severe headache. He was diagnosed of Intracerebral Hemorrhage (Stroke). His condition was really bad that he cannot be transferred to other hospital ( the hospital he was admitted to had no neurologist so every order from the doctor and communication was made thru phone call) The doctor said that he needed surgery but the survival rate will be 10-20% and if its successful he will be alive but bedridden. His family was not able to decide right away if they want him to undergo surgery but they had to do something. On January 11th, he had Craniectomy, a procedure when the neurosurgeon removes the portion of the skull and conducts open surgery to drain the blood and repair the ruptured blood vessel. They didn’t put back the flapbone or portion of the skull that was removed because his brain was still swelling. He will need another surgery in the future to put it back.

He was also diagnosed with Pneumonia that also affects his breathing. He’s now on medication for it and hopefully it will get better with medication.

He made it through surgery. He is still on ventilator as he still couldn’t breathe on his own and his BP is still not stable. He is still in ICU for two weeks now and he is fighting at Metro Lemery Medical Center, Batangas, Philippines. 

Ms. Donna Boa is the eldest daughter of
Mr. Boa which is the bread winner of the    Family. Any small amount is very much appreciated and can make a difference to help the medical expenses and medicines.
