As some of you may already know my father was recently involved in a mugging turned vicious assault where he ended up getting jumped and then stabbed multiple times by 5 teenagers he was trying to help with his rideshare services.
Not only did my Dad work very hard to stay calm cool and collected as the proceeded to try and make him possibly risk his job just to appease them.. but as their entitlement and narcissism knew no bounds the kelts pushing my father further into the uncomfortable situation till he had to finally got out of his car to call the police and right as he did that’s when they all jumped him.
By the end of everything my father was immensely lucky and blessed to have paramedics very nearby to take him to the hospital and absolutely save his life after something so difficult and terrifying just happened to him somewhere where there was no one else to help support or back him up throughout any of it...
Disney Gonzalez Sr is a hard working father of 7 children, two of which have disabilities: down syndrome and autism. My father is sole financial provider for the 5 children that still live at home with him. A man who works 16 hour days and still takes his kids to and from school and to and from their after school or extracurricular activities as well. He is a father with an unyeilding work ethic and and unshakeable sense of, and devotion to, family.
With all this having happened to him he now has to be at home and heal for a very long time which puts him out of work and without financial help for too long...
As a son and a provider for my own father i obviously help with everything as best as I can but can’t with certain things as much as I wish I could like helping with his bills and rent..
With all this, as people who are not used asking for help much less OPENLY asking for direct assistance… I am asking for any… please… if anyone can help my father just come out of this healthy and with enough financial stability where he doesn’t have to fret and his/my family can be ok for a while until he can go back to work SAFELY…. It would be BETOND appreciated…
Again all this would be to directly help take care of my little brother and sisters all in school and make sure they not have to worry about food on the table… a roof over their heads… or a father that will HEALTHILY and SAFELY grow old with them as no guide and provide for them!
Anything you all can do would be a huge blessing for them!
