Help Desmond Get to Washington D.C

Desmond is a 14 year old student currently in 8th grade. He attends Jim Bridger Middle School , located North Las Vegas, Nevada. Jim Bridger is a magnet school specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Desmond has always worked hard and after promoting from elementary, he earned a scholarship to attend this magnet school, with hopes of continuing his education and someday work in one of the many STEAM fields. Desmond's success and continued determination has not only proven beneficial for himself, but has also opened the door for his younger sister to attend this educational institution. Desmond is a bright young man who enjoys spending quality time with his family, gaming, and going on adventures.

Desmond was recently offered the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C., on May 30th, 2019. He will be traveling with other students from his school to learn about our government and take in the many arts located in Washington D.C. He is excited about receiving this opportunity and is really looking forward to attending, but he does need help to be able to cover the significant cost of this trip. Desmond would be greatly appreciative of all the help he can get towards helping him reach his goal and take this adventure. Desmond has always worked hard to reach goals and we all hope that with a little help, he can also achieve this goal.
