Help Derrick Graves and Family

Hi, my name is Amy Graves, and I have set up this donation page for the care of Derrick ‘Dink’ Graves and his wife and children. Uncle Dink, as I call him, is a beloved bus driver and business owner in Ponchatoula, LA. He is a Christian, family man who works hard to provide for his family and the many countless others he helps throughout the community. He is everyone’s favorite uncle and every bus rider’s favorite driver thanks to his infectious smile and sense of humor. He was recently working on a bus when the jack stand gave way causing the bus to land on his face. Miraculously, he is alive and stable, but he and his family have a long road to recovery. Anyone in our family will tell you, Uncle Dink is the first person to step up to help anyone he knows in need whether it’s fixing something free of charge, giving money, or just being there. With this in mind, I want to do all I can to give him peace of mind and help in his time of need. He would never want a hand out, and has always worked hard for everything he and his family have. However, in this time of need the only way we can show our love and support right now is to make sure he can get the best care and any and all surgeries he needs and also make sure his family can be by his side rather than worrying about finding ways to supplement his income from his self employment. We ask most importantly for your prayers, and any financial contribution will be a blessing we pray God returns to you 10 to 100 fold. Anything donated will go directly to he and his wife’s account.
