Help Deonetta get back on her feet

Deonetta Golja is the much loved wife of John Golja and mother of two beautiful primary aged children, Christopher and Madeleine. She is a teacher’s aide and works hard to care for and provide for her family.
On New Year’s Day, while visiting family in East Gippsland, Deonetta started to feel and behave not quite herself. She went to bed that night thinking perhaps she was just overtired. It was the next morning when her family realised something was dreadfully wrong and she was taken by ambulance to the local hospital. It was then confirmed Deonetta was suffering from a stroke caused by a blood clot in her brain and she was flown to Monash Clayton for an emergency operation.
Deonetta is currently in the hospital and is likely to remain there for the next few weeks. She is undergoing testing to ascertain the extent of the damage the stroke has caused to her brain. Deonetta has started her rehabilitation and is relearning how to walk, talk, eat and use her arms again.
It is undertermined how long Deonetta's recovery will be once she returns home. During her recovery period Deonetta will be unable to return to work. It is also likely she will need extensive physiotherapy and help with day to day activities at home including caring for herself and for her children.

Money raised through this GoFundMe page will go towards paying regular household bills which Deonetta would normally pay using her income, medical treatments Deonetta will need to aide her recovery, and in-home services Deonetta will require during her recovery at home.
