Help Denise Fight Brain Cancer

On July 4, 2017 Denise suffered  a seizure. At the time, doctors believed she had suffered a stroke. It was also discovered that she had lesions on her brain. In an effort to find more answers, she spent the next two months undergoing numerous tests. At the end of August, her spinal tap panel came back with a diagnosis of MS.

On September 13, 2017 Denise suffered another major seizure and spent several days in the hospital. On the 15th, they did a biopsy of the lesions. The results conluded that Denise has Glioblastoma, which is brain cancer.

Currently, Denise is undergoing 6 weeks of radiation 5 times per week and chemo 7 days per week. Once her treatment is complete, she will have a 4 week break. At that time, around mid- December, they will complete another MRI to determine how effective treatment has been by checking the size of the tumors. She will immediately begin another round of chemotherapy. 

With loss of wages, daily travel for doctor appointments, along with the expense of her treatment, Denise's family and friends are hoping to raise funds to help relieve some of the financial strain during this time.
