DeeDee's Medical Fund

As many of you know, DeeDee battled an aggressive form of tongue cancer in 2013-2014.  She bravely endured several surgeries and two rounds of radiation.  We prayed that the cancer was "gone for good," but unfortunately it is back.

You can help immediately by donating any amount to her Go Fund Me account.  All proceeds will go to the Schmeisser family to help defray medical costs.

DeeDee will have another surgery in a couple of weeks to remove the new cancer lesion.  At that time, the doctors will use tissue from her arm and reconstruct her tongue.  DeeDee will be hospitalized for a week and is faced with a long healing process after that.

As you can imagine, the Schmeissers are still trying to pay-off the medical bills from her first surgeries.  Adding new medical debt will only compound the problem.  DeeDee should focus on healing - not worrying about medical bills.

Your donation (no matter how small) will help relieve some of the emotional/financial pressure on this sweet family.
