As you know from Kristen’s post last week, Deana’s breast cancer recently returned to her liver. We were hoping for some positive biopsy results last week, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. There have been significant impacts to her liver and kidneys, and unfortunately there are no treatment options to cure her cancer which has given her a short window.

Deana is a fighter – we all know that – and she was already planning on a 10/20/30 year fight just as so many around her have. To hear that she may only have a few weeks has been a shock to us all. In true form, Deana set her mind to extend it to Thanksgiving, but there is no guarantee her body can match her fighting spirit.

Thankfully, we now have her at home to spend as much time as we can with the support and love of everyone around her. We all want to thank you for the outpouring of love and support – it means more than you know, even if we weren’t able to respond to your texts and calls right away.

Deana's priority, even from her first diagnosis, is her children. This GoFundMe is to ensure that her medical expenses will be taken of but also to ensure that her family will be provided for.
