Please Help David Miller

My long time good friend, David Miller, is currently going through the battle of his life.  On August 24th David checked into JPS Hospital with severe abdominal pain; since then, he has been in the hospital 6 times totaling 27 days at JPS.   David is unable to eat solid foods and has lost 55 lbs. since August 24th.  Doctors are having a very difficult time diagnosing David due to swelling in his colon and intestines and they can’t run all the necessary tests required because of the swelling.  David is currently admitted at JPS Hospital and has been there for 6 days; he cannot return home until his problem is resolved.   With no insurance and having missed so much work, his family of 5 is really struggling.  His hospital bills are over $50,000 and increasing daily.  Once doctors can perform the proper tests, surgery will most likely be the path to fixing the problem; they speculate that he has a partial blockage in his colon and must be removed.   Crohn’s Disease could be the diagnosis and after the blockage is removed, may have to be put on Humira, which costs $4,500/month without insurance.  His family is in dire need for financial help.  Having to spend countless nights away from his family, suffering with no end in sight, my heart goes out to them all.  Prayers are much needed and welcomed, but he truly needs our community of family and friends to help financially.  Please help this 42-year-old man get back on his feet and with his family.  Thank you!
