David is a hardworking, kind-hearted guy who’s always been there for others. After an abrupt separation from his wife, he’s lost access to shared funds due to the legal and financial complications of the process. Right now, he’s living out of his car—sleeping in it every night, struggling to stay safe and keep going while he searches for stable housing and work. He’s doing everything he can: applying for jobs, reaching out for resources, and staying positive. But he needs immediate help to get off the streets and back on his feet.
David’s most urgent needs right now are a new tire—he’s driving on a donut tire—and gas money to get to his job interviews and court appointments. It’s also very cold in Washington right now, especially at night, so a warm place to stretch his long legs out and have some peace of mind would really help. We’re also raising funds to cover temporary safe housing (motel, short-term rental, or first month’s rent and deposit), food, hygiene basics, and phone/data for job and legal needs. The support will also help with car insurance, maintenance, and any urgent separation-related costs. Every donation will go straight to these essentials, and I’ll update the page regularly so you can see the impact.
David is resilient—he just needs a bridge through this tough time. If you can give even a little, or share this page, it could make all the difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support.
